How to prepare for a pernoplasty?

A preoperative consultation with the anesthesiologist is mandatory, during this appointment you will explain to your doctor you goals from the operation.

The doctor will also look into your medical history to see if you have any medical problems that can affect you during or after the operation.

Any medicine containing aspirin will be prohibited 10 days before the procedure.

It is advisable to stop smoking at least 1 month before and 2 months after the procedure.

It is imperative to fast for 6 hours before the Turkey penoplasty operation.

What happens during the penoplasty surgery?

Regardless of the technique used, the procedure lasts an average of 1 hour.

This procedure is performed on an outpatient basis, an enlargement penoplasty is most often performed under local anesthesia deepened by tranquilizers or under general anesthesia.

Lengthening penoplasty requires general anesthesia.

Elongation alone is very rare and is often accompanied by thickening.

Thickening/enlargement of the penis:

Enlargement is done by lipofilling. The surgeon removes fat using a micro cannula from an area of the body with excess fat cells.

The fat is then centrifuged and reinjected over the entire penis in a sparse manner so as to amplify the contact surface between the implanted cells and the recipient tissues.

Penis lengthening:

• It is advisable to wear loose underwear for 1 month to avoid any compression.
• The work stoppage does not generally exceed 6 days.
• Sexual abstinence for one month is recommended.

Is the injection of hyaluronic acid a good alternative to penoplasty?

Thanks to injections of hyaluronic acid, it is possible to enlarge and lengthen the size of the penis, or the size of the glans, without going through a surgical operation.

This technique offers several advantages:

• It is possible to have sexual intercourse after 48 hours.
• It is reversible and totally adaptable.
• That said, the intervention gives a temporary result, and the injections must be repeated every 18 months or so.

What are the results of a penoplasty?
